Have you ever gone somewhere and thought "gosh this is going to suck."
That's how I felt when I moved to Florida.
I still feel like that most of the time. Its quite boring here but somehow I know its just where I need to be.
On Monday I go and sign the lease for my very first apartment.
goodness, I'm excited.
The studio is behind a cute little house in an old historic neighborhood. The landlords are moving out and renting the house out
which is a bummer since they would have been wicked cool to get to know.
30 something with the most adorable little red headed twin girls. One of which kept smiling up and giggling at me while the other hung from a baby carrier on her moms shoulders.
They seemed more like the type of people I would have met in Oregon.
I've been working in visual for the past 4 months at work and can't wait to use some of what I learned on the job to decorate my new apartment.
I want to give it that Anthropologie feel... Or maybe a beachy feel I haven't decided yet.
About 4 months ago I adopted the cutest puppy. PitBull and Chihuahua mix, yes I'm serious.
I named her Coco.
She's gotten so big since those first few days. I was just feeding her from a bottle and worrying about her health. Now, she runs around the backyard like a track star.
I love this kid.
Yesterday I discovered that Juicy Couture makes dog stuff... Oh no Coco you're going to be one spoiled little puppy. :)
love,
Julie
